Norah (5215)

Age:  Approx. 7 years
Color:  Black and tan
Coat:  Smooth
Sex:  Female, spayed
Size: Mini – 11 lbs.

~ Norah is being fostered in Tempe, AZ ~

Norah came into rescue in December 2023, during the holidays. It was a true blessing of a rescue, as her eyes were horribly damaged and her pain excruciating. Her eyes have since been removed and, free of pain, she can be the happy, adorable little love bug she really is.

The resilience of dogs is amazing. What we humans would view as a tragedy, the dogs accept as their new normal and get on with the business of dealing with it. It took Norah about a week to map out her environment, and she navigates with ease.

Norah is a ‘mostly’ dachshund. We think a bit of min pin. She is a world-class burrower and blanket burrito roller. Snuggle is her favorite word. Her coat is like velvet.

She doesn’t bark, ever! She doesn’t need a yard. She is perfect for an apartment or close quarters living! No stairs.

Norah is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and had a full dental including bloodwork.
